Hello, Astrology Explorers!
Last night about 4am my mind was replaying old scenarios of worry. Nothing new there. In the night I sometimes go to unhappy places that (mostly) disappear in the morning light. Then I had a thought come to me: "Will the Real You Please Step Forward?"
That's the Old Me that dwells on past wounds. I can also create trauma/drama out of nothing. Let's call this the false ego.
Ego gets a bad rap. We need our egos to be here on the physical plane. But we don't need the bullshit. We don't need separation, blame, judgment, and projection.
Enter the Real You. The You that rises up above petty disputes. Rises above being triggered by the news. Rises above the mind's tendency to dwell on negativity.
Enter Aquarius. Or rather, we are entering Aquarius! The Great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn at 0 degrees of Aquarius on December 21 is BIG NEWS. I wrote about this in my last astro post.
Here's something really cool about Aquarius.
AQUARIUS and RULER URANUS REWARD INDIVIDUAL, AUTHENTIC EXPRESSION. The converse is true. Those who try to stay stuck in the past, stuck in an identity that no longer fits, may feel like a rototiller is tearing through their life.
Here are some Aquarius words: innovation, invention, cosmic downloads from the great beyond, the future, abrupt change, and my personal favorite: Let Your Freak Flag Fly! Does this sound like fitting in? Going along to get along? Doing what society thinks you should do?
Unh-uh.
When I ask the Real Me to step forward, I feel taller. Determined. Confident. It feels easy to shuck the old patterns, to show the fake me to the door.
